Merry Christmas!!

Hello, everyone. How are you? How was your Christmas? I hope you guys had a great Christmas.
We had a wonderful Christmas here. Thank you for the gifts, grandmas and grandpas!! Joi loves them a lot!! and we love them a lot too!!

We invited my grandparents to our house to celebrate Christmas!!

We had chicken, potato salad, pizza, sashimi, cake, etc....
After that, we did Karaoke with them!!

And...presents time!!

Seven Five Three

Hello, everyone!! How are you?

We went to shrine to celebrate Joi's Shichigosan (Seven Five Three) last weekend.

Girls of age three and seven and boys of age five (chinese year) are celebrated on Shichigosan, and it is prayed for their good health and growth.

This is the Kimono i wore when i was 3 year-old!! Joi looked so cute and everyone at the shrine looked at Joi and said "She is so cute!!" She was like a famous person!!

Happy Halloween!!

Hi, guys!! How are you? How was your Halloween?
Here in Japan, Trick-or-treating is not so famous. We do not walk around the neighborhood but a shopping mall has a trick-or-treating event sometimes. We went to the event on Saturday but too many kids joined it already so Joi could not do it..

My sister had a great idea to do trick-or-treating at our house. Each of us stayed in different rooms and Joi walked around and knocked on all the doors! It turned out great!!

Joi wore last year's costume. It fit her better this year!! We are glad that she had so much fun !!

And...look at my sexy husband!!

He is so cute!! He is better looking than me haha. Everyone loved it!!

I found a big pumpkin house at the mall. Although, we do not do trick-or-treating or carving pumpkins in Japan, many stores are decorated so cute for Halloween.

I hope everyone had a great Halloween!! We miss American Halloween though. Well, take care and I will try to post new blogs more often!!  We love you all !!

Happy Birthday, Joi !!

Hi, everyone. How are you? Oct.03 was Joi's 2 year-old birthday. We had a party at my house. Joi was so excited!!

I thought this cake was so cool but actually, it was horrible to cut this cake!! I didn't want to cut her face!! Well, I did anyway... but it was so good!! I want to eat it again!!

She loves this cooking toy. She always gives me some cake or tea saying "Here you go."in Japanese. She loves her watch too and always wears it.
Thank you to all the Grandparents so much for the gifts!! She loves everything!! I am so glad that
we could use the web cam with both sets of Joi's Grandparents in America. Joi was so happy to see you guys!!
